What is Outdoor Ed?

This year the sixth graders at Wilde Lake Middle School will have their outdoor education experience at NorthBay, an environmental learning center in North East, MD. During this four day and three night trip the outdoors will be our classroom! The students will be introduced to the field of environmental science through hands-on experiences and will use the environment to learn critical thinking skills. They will also focus on building character and leadership through adventure and discovery.
